You may have noticed brown or black lesions on your trees' leaves, buds, limbs or fruit. This condition is called Apple Scab, and it's caused by a fungus called Venturia inaequalis—one of the top enemies of landscapers in the U.S.

While Apple Scab rarely kills its host, it is unsightly and can cause premature leaf loss, reduced fruit and bloom yield, and other health problems in your trees. Because this fungus can be a threat every year, it is important to treat your fruit trees before you see symptoms. Once your plants are infected, there is little that can be done to help them. Keep your fruit trees healthy and vibrant all summer long by scheduling proactive applications.
